Although it remains off-the-radar to some, the name Selbach-Oster will be a familiar one to German wine aficionados as vintage in and vintage out, they are rated among some of the highest by the critics.

These wines have really got me into German Rieslings. I can’t stop admiring them in the wine rack and I’m waiting patiently for the next occasion to open one. This is a good thing as they age beautifully well. Unbelievably good.
