This Côtes de Provence Rosé is a thoughtful blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Rolle, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvèdre. Pale pink in colour and light in style, it is a classic Provence rosé to the core. Delicate hints of melon, peach and apricot on the nose are also present on the palate. The finish is persistent and fresh. An elegant example from an understated grower.
Domaine Pinchinat has quietly been producing organic wines since 1990, long before it was a trendy word in the region. The property has belonged to the same family for over two centuries and is now expertly managed by Alain de Welle. Situated at the foot of the famous Montagne Sainte-Victoire, 25km east of Aix en Provence, the winery has 75 acres of vineyard at 280m above sea level. The soils here are composed of clay and limestone making it a haven for vine growing.
