Tasted at the Crypt on the green tasting in London. Its got to be one of the best examples I have tried.
I was so impressed with this wine, that a visit to the winery was arranged to learn more. Soon after it picked up a Gold Medal and 95 points at the Decanter world wine awards- a fantastic achievement.
Intense juicy notes of fruit on the nose, ripe green apple, elegant spiciness, fine hints of stone fruit, some notes of rock salt and elderflower. Wonderfully crisp, dense and elegant on the mouth-watering palate, rich in finesse, ripe stone fruit, and pleasant undertone of herbal spiciness.
