Prominent red fruits and dark cherry on the nose. Intensely flavoured on the palate with soft, approachable tannins and a spicy savoury finish.
PRODUCER
Mount Riley watches over Marlborough, the world famous, cool climate, Sauvignon Blanc region. In this stunning landscape, father and daughter duo, John Buchanan and Amy Murphy, work together to produce a range of wines truly expressive of their region.
VINIFICATION
Cold soak pre ferment for 5-7 days. Fermented at 28-30 degrees celcius and pressed off within a week of completing fermentation. MLF in barrel. Aged in French oak barriques, 20% of which were new.
PAIRING DESCRIPTION
Great with savoury tomato or mushroom flavoured pasta dishes, salmon or red meats.
