Generous, smooth and expressive with plump red berry flavours and a refreshing finish, Insignia Malbec showcases the richness and elegance of high-altitude vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Grapes from Luján de Cuyo bring ripeness and sweet tannins, while the Uco Valley provides freshness and tension. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. This wonderful Malbec pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables, grilled steak, slow-cooked lamb and mature cheeses.

Passionate winemakers for four generations, the Arizu family has been producing high quality wines for 120 years. The estate, founded in 1901 by Don Leoncio Arizu, is the oldest family-owned winery in Argentina. As pioneers in Mendoza, they were instrumental in the creation of the Luján de Cuyo DOC in 1989, Argentina’s first appellation. Their vineyards are in the best valleys at the foothills of the Andes.
