Critic Reviews:

Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate 92 points The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Champs-Chenys Vieilles Vignes is lovely, bursting with aromas of cherries, raspberries, licorice and spices, framed by a deft touch of toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, supple and layered, with a charming core of fruit, powdery tannins and fine depth at the core. As ever, this derives from old vines below Charmes-Chambertin and shares some of that cru’s attributes.

Vinous 92 points The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Champs-Chenys, from vines adjacent to Charmes-Chambertin, is well-defined on the nose, offering blackberry, bilberry, touches of meat juice and light savory notes. The medium-bodied palate is fresh and vibrant, with fine grip on the entry and an almost symmetrical poise on the graphite finish. Excellent.
