The old vineyard of white garnacha gives us a wine of a high concentration and an exceptional fineness. The wine rests mostly on concrete, and a small percentage in foudres. The nose plays between the white fruit in bloom and the ripe white fruit, with the fair strokes of the wood, well integrated. Wide texture and enveloping, fleshy but fresh, lively acidity, long and deep. A very gastronomic target.
Our domain Benufet has one of the oldest vineyards in Terra Alta. The rich grapes of the low productive vines are manually harvested and cooled until 4 degrees before entering our winery to preserve the freshness. The fermentation took place in a modern conical concrete fermentation vessel.

Grenache – or the locally styled Garnatxa – is the calling card of this up-and-coming quality wine region, and the team at Herència Altés is working tirelessly to put both their beloved region and its flagship grape variety on the world map. The estate combines carefully maintained old vine Garnatxa vineyards and an incredible state-of-the-art winery, every inch of which is designed to lower its impact on the environment, relying almost entirely on solar power and recycling rainfall for use throughout the facility. All of the vineyards are farmed according to organic practices.
