Producer notes. As a variety, it can be a trifle reserved, almost indifferent, unless we bring it to its extreme. We pick it when it is fully ripe, but not overripe. It preserves the freshness that is not always present in Pinot Gris from the Goriška Brda region. When young, it feels somewhat unformed, always full-bodied and firmer. A rare style in our parts: you either grow fond of it or not. It is more reminiscent of the Alsatian style than of anything else.  It offers hazelnut, also flowery notes as well as some of the typical spicy notes of Pinot Gris. Ageing: 10 months in oak barrels.
