Outstanding notes of black cherries, iodine, shrimp broth, and marine-like nuances emerge from the 2016 Saint Chinian Mezura. This Syrah-dominated effort has medium-bodied aromas and flavors, clean, pure fruit, nicely integrated acidity, and a great finish.
** – Guide Hachette 2019
This vintage has the strengths of its minerality, its aromas of black fruits (crushed blackcurrant), its greedy, fleshy, round, smooth and silky palate. 2020-2024.
