Street Wines View:

75cl bottle.

Organic.

Opens with invigorating, intense perfumes of lime blossom. The palate has a precise, clean fruit character of lemon and citrus, apricot, developing into rich lemon meringue tart-like flavour on the bone-dry finish.

Star bright in colour, the appearance of this Riesling foretells the pristine and unalloyed quality of its fruit. Wonderland boasts classic Riesling aromatics of citrus zest, lemon foliage and hints of dragon fruit flowers. On the palate it is an attractively textural Riesling, displaying the variety’s intense purity. Bone dry, its structure and length is underpinned by austere acidity.

  • “Hand-picked, whole bunch-pressed, cool-fermented, bottled without filtration or fining. Reflects 7.8g/l of acid and a very low pH of 2.8. This packs a punch that will always be part of a special riesling, bred and built to develop over a 20-year span, its minerally acidity wrapped around citrus fruit.”

  • Riesling from Australia’s Eden Valley. 103 year old vines. An organic vineyard and hand picked from a very low yield on March 3rd. Whole bunch pressing is used here with no filtering or fining.Pale lemon green colour with pronounced aromas of lemon-lime, lime zest, green apple, rubber, petrol, stony minerality and a slight floral blossom note. Flavours are juicy with lime, citrus, crisp Granny Smith apple, white grapefruit, wet stone and steely minerals. Dry (2g/L) with high acidity and a light body and a long finish. Youthful and bright.Mouthwatering, crisp and refreshing. Pair soundly with seafood, shellfish and fried calamari.
