AN ORANGE WINE.
If I’m honest I have been less than impressed with orange wine. I do however try wines with an open mind. It actually has aromas of tangerine, with a pleasing orange flavour. At first I thought it had some oak aging but think this textured sensation comes from contact with its grape skins. It has a reasonably rich palate and I think this is good and its by a very good producer.
This orange wine brings together Inzolia and Zibibbo organic grapes to create a delicious, fruity and fresh wine.
About the producer.
At Cortese, we produce wine in the most traditional and natural way to reflect the true character of the estate’s terroir and its grape varieties. Taking tradition as our inspiration, we started to employ ancient wine-making techniques such as fermentation in terracotta. The resulting wines reflect the combination of modern technology and traditional techniques, with every nuance of the terroir showing through.
