On a recent visit to Tuscany this was a wine I took note of.
A traditional Chianti Riserva that showcases depth, balance, and classic Tuscan character. Ripe red fruit is layered with savoury notes and gentle spice, reflecting extended ageing and careful winemaking.
Critic Reviews:
Typical Chianti with red berries on the nose and palate, together with a good dose of spicy, almost licoricey oak, which plays a major role without overwhelming the fruit. Medium-bodied with lightly firm tannins and a hint of vanilla from the wood at the end. Everything in tune and balanced. An easy-drinking riserva. Enjoy now. James Suckling
