Los Carneros is one of Napa Valley’s coolest growing regions with marine influences of both morning fog and afternoon wind originating from the San Pablo Bay. These climatic conditions work to synergistically moderate temperature. Due to its location near the San Pablo Bay, the soils found at Poseidon Vineyard are clay and loam, resulting in vines struggling to retain water and poor fertility. Due to the soil and climate, the Poseidon Vineyard produces grapes with ripe fruit characteristics, fantastic balance and finesse.

Delightful aromas of Meyer lemon, apple blossom, crème brulee and ginger followed by flavours of white nectarine, lemon meringue and lightly toasted marshmallow. Our 2016 Limited Release Poseidon Vineyard Chardonnay is a medium body white wine with silky texture followed by juicy long finish.
