The story of Cielo e Terra is another winning combination of a large cooperative managed by a dynamic family company. Giovanni Cielo founded the winery in 1908. Fourth generation family members Luca and Pierpaolo now run the winery.

This is a soft, easy-going Merlot with plenty of  juicy red berry and plum fruit with an array of dried herbs to add to the mix. Very well made with a decent length to the finish.

The brand contributes 5% of their profits to the Ekuò charity which invests in sustainability initiatives such as safe water projects in remoter areas of Africa.

In 2020 Cielo e Terra attained B-Corp certification, and around the same time bought the stunning Palladian-style Villa La Favorita. Their commitment to help preserve this extraordinary renaissance heritage of this area.
