Old True Zin Zinfandel Rosso 2020

This is the Primitivo grape pretending to be American Zinfandel, why not? They are the same grape.

Dark and brooding, showing good healthy colour. Forest fruits on the nose. Good core structure with enough acidity and alcohol, chewy tannins and firm reassuring flavours. Fruity, with notes of plums cherry, candied orange peel and tobacco; spicy with an aftertaste of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.

Really satisfying and recommended.
