These Gala wines are really as good as it gets in Argentina, you can pay more money but its honestly hard to improve on them.
All the Gala wines are blends from the best Bosca vineyards. Gala 4 is arguably one of the best Cabernet Franc blends to have come out of Argentina, made up of 95% Cabernet Franc; the remaining 5% Malbec gives the wine a more rounded mouth-feel.

WORLD WINE AWARDS 2018 (SILVER): Deeply elegant, rich and earthy, packed with red fruits, rounded oak and notes of liquorice and leather. Warming and concentrated.

Medium red. Lively aromas of cherry, currant, mocha, spicy oak and pungent peppery herbs. Nicely concentrated, savoury wine with a strong Franc-y herbal pungency that is reasonably well supported by the wine’s density of material. Hints of red cherry and violet contribute to the impression of energy. Finishes with a firm spine of mouth-dusting tannins and very good energy. While this Cabernet Franc is not from the Uco Valley, it’s still quite fresh and intriguing. And its serious tannins are every bit as ripe as those of the Gala 2 blend based on Cabernet Sauvignon. This, too, calls for a bit of patience.
