Established in 1901, Luigi Bosca has an extensive track-record in the industry. Currently managed by the third and fourth generations of the family, it is one of the few winemaking firms in Argentina that is still owned by its founders. Their single vineyard wines aim to show expression of the Finca Los Noble plot, based in Las Compuertas.
The Cabernet Bouchet is a field blend made from predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, with a small amount of Bouchet (an old clone of Cabernet Franc).
This is a rich and complex wine that is full of concentrated bramble fruits. It still remains smooth and elegant, with hints of truffle, tobacco and leather on a well-structured, velvety palate. This blend has an ageing potential of around 20 years and is a great match for spiced lamb.
