The François family owns four hectares of Côte-Rôtie vines. Only the best and most expressive grapes are used to make their Côte-Rôtie. This wine has concentrated richness and structure and good density with blackberries, brambles and herb spices.
This elegant wine shows complex aromas of black fruits, violets and pepper. The palate is round and well structured, with fine tannins and a long smooth finish.

Crisp-tart blackberry and cassis are framed by fine, chalky tannins and bristling acidity in this wine. It’s restrained but elegant, accented by firm tones of granite, bramble and sun-baked herbs. The finish is long and refreshingly pure. Enjoy now–2035. Anna Lee C. Iijima

Peppery nose, lovely lifted fragrance and delicacy. Slight chew to the tannic structure, moderate length. A model of restraint and balance.
