The De Stefani family has been producing wine in the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene since the late 1800s. Today Alessandro De Stefani, fourth generation, still strives for originality in his wines, using local indigenous grape varieties or local techniques. Although not certified they are organic and are continually searching to make improvements in their vineyards, which average 25 years in age.
The Rosé Método Zéro, made from 50% Marzemino and 50% Raboso, has flavours of raspberry and strawberry and is the perfect summer aperitif.
Organic and biodynamic principles are followed though they do not have official certification. No sulphites are added and only naturally-occuring yeasts are used.
