The Pavillon Rouge is produced from 80% Cinsault and 20% Syrah and is a generous wine with silky tannins.
The wines from Chateau de la Negly have gained wide recognition as some of the best examples to come from the whole of the Languedoc, This example is a wine that certainly over delivers for its humble price.
Domaine de Boede is a 25ha property that was in the Arnaud family for several generations. As a big fan of their vineyard sites, Jean Paux-Rosset, their neighbour and the owner of Chateau de la Negly, leased them until 2006. When he finally convinced the Arnauds to sell, he became the outright owner of Domaine de Boede.
Made at Chateau de la Negly by the same exceptional team of winemakers, Didier Lacreu and Claude Gros, these wines receive the same care and meticulous attention that is given to the Chateau de la Negly wines. The vineyards are in the La Clape AOP, and are identified by their close proximity to the Mediterranean with their weathered sandstone soils of gravel and chalk. The grapes are hand-sorted, berry by berry, after they are de-stemmed by a triple sorting table team of 12 people.
