One of the biggest most full bodied Rioja’s we have tried. Deep cherry red with an intense ruby rim. On the nose, this wine is intense and elegant, offering floral notes and aromas of red fruit, sweet spice, vanilla and roasted coffee. It is well-balanced and has a long, lingering finish.
92/100 Wine Spectator
This plush red offers ripe cherry and plum flavours, with liquorice, vanilla and spice notes backed by orange peel acidity and well-integrated tannins. Harmonious, fresh and lively.
91/100 Tim Atkin
Always aged in 15-20% new American oak, this is an impressive release for a 2013, a vintage in which many wineries struggled for concentration. Savoury, smoky and blueberry fruity with a nip of supporting tannins. 2018-23.
