75cl bottle.

A serious beautifully aged Rioja Gran Reserva. We have had some good old bottles over the years. This 2014 vintage is at its peak and will drink well for years to come.

All the grapes are hand harvested and sorted at Baron de Lay giving them the optimum selection from their extensive vineyards. It has a deliciously tempting garnet colour with orange flecks to the rim and sticks to the glass making those appealing arch windows that great wines possess. Cracked black pepper and spice box are first out of the glass followed by dried red fruits and desirable old leather and woody aromas. The palate is thick with juicy red and black fruits and has that gorgeous creamy flavour from its years in quality oak barrels. Its a special occasion wine to be savoured.
