Antonio Mas is one of the most emblematic oenologists of Argentina. His name represents a significant part of the country’s modern wine history, fuelled by his role as a pioneer in the field of Argentinian-terroir-inspired viticulture and modern winemaking. The vineyard is located at La Arboleda in Tupungato, at the heart of Uco Valley. This specific region is considered one of the most privileged to grow high quality grapes in Argentina and the place chosen by some of the best producers for their elite wines. Antonio Mas vineyards were planted more than 16 years ago with proven and very special clones of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
Antonio and Manuel (Jr.) make wines with character and balance, reflecting the exceptional fruit of this unique terroir for full appreciation. The structure of the wines and careful barrel ageing gives Antonio Mas wines excellent ageing potential. They are designed for the sophisticated wine consumer.
